With the theme Collab: Imagined Spaces and Multiple Voices, this year’s event featured collaborations among artists from India, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. The project has provided a platform for conversation among the community of creatives, artists, teacher-artists, cultural workers, etc. regarding notions and constructs on alternative modalities of arts production, performances, exhibits, and creative events. It also created an opportunity for collaboration of new works that showcase through online arts performances.
The project had four components: workshops, performances (a showcase of local and international new and old original works), collaborative performances (joint performances between local and international artists), and talkback sessions. A total of 120 people (30 resource speakers, 60 individual artists and 25 groups) from eleven countries (Japan, India, Thailand, Australia, Koreal, Belgium, Norway, USA, Taiwan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Philippines) were directly involved in the project.
