#WeAreAthletes (Dec 3)

The Japan Foundation, Manila brings you #WeAreAthletes – a video series promoting the importance of physical fitness, as well as diversity and inclusion through sports to be launched on December 3, 2020.

#WeAreAthletes will feature stories of Filipino and Japanese athletes and para-athletes and their journey in the world of sports. Premiering on the International Day of Disabled Persons 2020, the series aims to expand people’s idea of hard work, unity, and sportsmanship, along with championing the importance of community support in motivating and supporting athletes of the future.

The video series will also include Radio Taiso, a popular morning Japanese warm-up exercise to encourage everyone to continue being active even in the confines of their homes. With the work-from-home and remote learning setup, we hope this will help everyone across all ages to stay physically engaged and high-spirited.

The video series will be available on our website, official Facebook page, and YouTube account.
